Having founded enterprises that deliver educational and professional solutions, Jonathan Carroll is a longtime Illinois state representative who has held his position in state government across four consecutive terms. Jonathan Carroll champions issues that range from education to food allergy safety, and he often reaches across the aisle with the goal of achieving meaningful results. He supports fellow legislatures across diverse committees, and chairs the Police and Fire and Consumer Protection Committees.

Mr. Carroll earned his bachelor’s degree at DePaul University in Chicago in communications, and completed a graduate degree at Northeastern Illinois University focused on learning disabilities. Knowledgeable about social/emotional disorders, he drew on his experiences as an adult with ADHD in launching the Carroll Educational Group, Inc., in 2004. Over the past two decades, he has worked in special education and executive function consulting capacities, helping clients meet objectives in the classroom and the boardroom alike.

Mr. Carroll’s early career experience includes covering the Democratic National Convention as an intern with CBS News in 1996, and he has also taught special education at a number of schools across Illinois.
